Why?
murder
Terrorism
Torture
Why?
Why death?
Why suffering?
A mad
bad
sad world!
WHY?
There are no
easy answers
That don't sound cheap
Belittling pain
Once the Jews said
"They were sinners"
"That's why they died"
Jesus said.
"NO
No worse
Than the rest of you"
God isn't vindictive
Jesus wept!
Wept at the death
Of a friend
Cried over a city
Heading for destruction
Aware of the mess
we have made
of our lives
of our planet
Yelled
Father Forgive!
As they tortured him too
Meanwhile
God waits...
just a bit longer
Maybe they'll change
Why?
its a
mad
bad
sad world.
And we made
it that way.
Jesus still weeps.
